“Kaiserbäder Insel Usedom” is the Municipality of Heringsdorf on the Island of Usedom. The USEDOM BALTIC FASHION – Team initiates the Baltic Fashion project and contributes to innovative Baltic Fashion as well as to a positive image transfer of the region. Together with all partners we want to create the Baltic Fashion Network.

Since 2002 Kaiserbäder (imperial spas) hosts the BALTIC FASHION AWARD – an international design contest for creative baltic fashion collections.
Several times a year fashion people meet each other, have the possibility to talk, present their collections and are evaluated by a professional jury. A special atmosphere arises because of the combination of fashion and sea. Already in the 1920s the department stores of Berlin followed their customers and showed their new creations on the isle of Usedom.
Today catwalks are in the “3 Kaiserbäder”, on the pier of Heringsdorf or at other places around the island. The group of participants is the whole range of graduates of fashion design as well as experienced fashion designers. Regional politics and the tourism association of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are supporting the events as a part of creative and cultural economy.
